Acid Neutralizer

Specially formulated to penetrate layers of Damascus after etching to ensure proper neutralization of Ferric Chloride, and other etchants. When using Ferric Chloride, once desired etch/color is achieved, rinse damascus in water and liberally cover with Acid Neutralizer to deactivate the Ferric Chloride.

Liquid anti-scale compound can be sprayed, flow coated, brushed or dipped onto your knife blade to minimize the formation of oxide scale and drastically reduce pitting and decarb loss during heat treat. Reduce re-work time after heat treat with the fantastic option to foil wrapping. Has a hot working range of 1000° to 2300° Fahrenheit, crumbles on cooling, and parts rinse clean in hot water.

The world’s most widely specified accelerated fast oil quenchant. It is capable of quenching a variety of steels, sizes and shaped par ts with little or no change in operating parameters. AAA Quench Oil achieves faster cooling rates through intensified action in the initial stages. This, and slower cooling through the mar tensitic transformation range, minimize distor tion and ensures uniform maximum hardness to a greater depth. AAA Quench Oil is suitable for integral quenching and ideal for carbon, low and medium alloy steels.
