Titanium Pivot Pins

Titanium or Copper Collars for Pivot Pins

Our 1/2" pivot collar sets are designed to fit around and compliment our 5/16" titanium pivot screws. The collars are sold as a set of two (2). Pivot pin sold separately! Sprocket Pivot collar sets consist of two pieces; an outer collar piece and an inside sprocket piece. The two pieces must be used together to make one pivot collar. Each 1/2"collar has an outside diameter of .495", allowing it to fit into a 1/2" (.500") counterbore. Overall collar height is .078" with a .045" inside shoulder height.

Use for pinning your folding knives. Precision machined from stainless steel, nickel silver or brass. We offer a 1/4" head with 3/16" body, and stainless button head screw is threaded 6-32. The larger size has a 5/16" head and .196 diameter body, and a stainless steel button head screw threaded 8-32.

Our high quality 5/16" Screw Titanium Pivot Sets come with 2 – 6AL4V titanium screws and 1 heat treated 416 stainless barrel. The screws have a head diameter of .305" and a T-15 torx style drive, so they will fit nicely into a 5/16" (.312) counter bore. Screws are threaded 6-40. The barrels are available in 3/16" (.187) or 1/4" (.2495) diameter with a tolerance of -0/+.0002. Barrels available in 2 standard barrel lengths .375" and .500".

Designed to keep hinge pins from turning during installation and fine adjusting. The locking liner usually has a D shaped hole for hinge pins, however, you can place the pin into the locking liner and interrupt the hole next to the flat by using an auto center punch to expand the metal, creating a protrusion to hold the pin in place. It does not take much stretching of the metal to keep the hinge pin from turning. Can be used in round holes.
