Horn makes a unique and special handle material for tang blades. Most whole horns are hollow and will need to be filled with epoxy.

Bone makes an excellent natural handle material for any knife. Easy to shape and work, bone is durable and attractive. Jantz procures a variety of bone from naturally deceased animals including giraffe, zebra, impala, wildebeest, kudu and more.

Fossilized Mammoth is collected from the remains of the extinct wooly mammoth preserved in the tundra regions of Alaska and Siberia.
