Extremely solid, without pith, just a small vein hole in the center. Good color and texture. When worked down it gives a good solid white surface, the perfect choice for carving and scrimshaw. Length of Crowns are 5” to 6”. Length of Rounds are 4-1/2” to 5”.

Works well for small to medium size hidden tang knives. The tines may have minor scratches from the axis deer rubbing his antlers on thorn bushes. Scratches can easily be removed by fine sanding and polishing.

Each set is different with unique coloring, texture and ridge patterns. Sold by average width of the overall set, shapes may vary. Average size is a minimum of 1/4" thick and 4 3/4" long.
